Sofia Castellanos

Sofia is an independent prescriber and sees most of our same-day urgent appointments. If you call at eight in the morning with something that needs looking at today, she is very often the person you will see.

She assesses, diagnoses, prescribes and discharges in her own right, and refers directly to secondary care where that is what is needed. She also runs the travel clinic at Eastfield and manages our wound care caseload.

She qualified in Seville, moved to London in 2011, and completed her MSc in advanced practice at King’s in 2018.
