Ruth runs our structured medication reviews, which are the appointments patients tend to be most surprised by: a full hour, going through every tablet, what it is for, whether it is still doing that, and what it costs you in side effects.

She is an independent prescriber and manages blood pressure and anticoagulation caseloads in her own clinics. She is also the person who untangles things after a hospital discharge, when the list that comes back rarely matches the list that went in.

She has a particular interest in deprescribing in older patients, and has published on it twice.
